As an OGI Field Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing hydrocarbon fugitive emission and /or leak detection of facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry in field. As well as work with industry leading technologies used to detect and measure methane gas emissions.

• Perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission and /or leak detection of facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Work with industry leading technologies used to detect and measure methane gas emissions.
• Assist in coordinating and navigating to various facilities with maps and GPS.
• Help calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Use various detection and measurement technologies under the supervision of the Team Lead.
• Collect and record emission data.
• Prepare field reports as required.

The compensation range for this role is $50-60k/yr. Commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference given to candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience).
• Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office are essential) and proficiency with Android OS.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only).
• Valid driver's license.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or applicable technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing or a mechanical background are also preferred, but not required.

• Ability to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying various technical equipment for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable occasionally working at heights in a safe manner.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• Comfortable working outside in all-weather elements.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to travel.
