- Analyze and mitigate EMC/ESD risks via simulation, testing, and shielding
- Drive improvements in PCB layout guidelines and EDA tool usage
- Review and approve PCB and assembly changes (ECOs)
- Ensure component libraries are current and meet internal standards
- Support sustainment for obsolescence management and customer issue resolution
- Develop guidelines for documentation consistency and release processes
- Perform other related duties as needed
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 5+ years of direct electrical engineering experience
- Proven experience designing circuits, analyzing test data, and independently validating performance
- Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design principles
- Experience with handheld electronic products preferred
- Experience with small rechargeable batteries (e.g., 18650, Li-Po pouch) preferred
- Knowledge of USB charging methodologies and battery charging designs a plus
- Experience with AC/DC, DC/AC, and DC/DC power electronics preferred
- Demonstrated ability in EMC/ESD risk analysis and mitigation
- Strong technical, analytical, planning, and time-management skills
- Effective written and oral communication; able to present technical and financial justifications to all levels
- Ability to operate in changing, time-constrained, and occasionally stressful environments
- Collaborative team orientation with internal and external partners
