Job Description Location / Project / Compensation

  • Dallas, Texas (Onsite)
  • Data Center Conversion (Warehouse to Mission Critical Facility)

About the Role
  • Own field execution of MEP systems for a 150,000 SF warehouse conversion to a data center
  • Ensure coordination of electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems
  • Work directly with subcontractor foremen and trade partners
  • Execute design led by an Accredited Tier Designer (Uptime Institute)
  • Operate with high autonomy and field accountability
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day execution of electrical distribution, cooling, and infrastructure systems
  • Direct subcontractor foremen across electrical, mechanical, and specialty trades
  • Validate installations against design intent (N, N+1, 2N redundancy)
  • Identify and resolve field issues in real time
  • Drive schedule, quality, and safety accountability
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Maintain daily reporting and documentation
  • Support testing, commissioning, and turnover

Required Qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of construction experience with strong MEP focus
  • Experience managing electrical and mechanical scopes
  • Understanding of power distribution, switch gear, and redundancy
  • Ability to lead subcontractor foremen
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Full-time onsite presence in Dallas
Experience
  • Mission-critical, industrial, or plant environments
  • Exposure to data center projects
  • Electrical contractor or large-scale mechanical systems background
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes
Additional Priority
  • Candidates with strong electrical infrastructure experience (power distribution, switch gear, redundancy) will be prioritized
