Our client is a 100% employee owned, multi-office, full service Architecture and Engineering Firm that focuses on commercial building design.
They are looking for a dynamic, talented Electrical Designer/Engineer for an Electrical Discipline Specialist position working in their Dallas, TX office.
Role:
The Electrical Discipline Specialist will act as the liaison between management and design staff, will collaborate with designers and train concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. This position requires a strong understanding of REVIT to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects. The ability to effectively complete sophisticated prototypical design for multiple types of buildings and Clients with little to no supervision is strongly desired.
The Discipline Specialist will lead quality assurance for the team.
Requirements:
- 7 years applicable work experience in the A/E field, specializing in Electrical Engineering with a focus in commercial/facility design.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit platforms
- Thorough knowledge of required codes like the NEC
- Specialized certifications in discipline related systems. [ADA, LEED, etc.]
- Experienced in Costworks
- Experienced in Masterworks.
- Licensed Professional with a good standing preferred.
