Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer serving the electric utility industry, is expanding its engineering organization and seeking several Design Engineers and Senior Design Engineers to support continued growth across the United States.

This position is responsible for the structural analysis and design of custom steel transmission structures and related products. Engineers work closely with customers, project management, drafting, manufacturing, estimating, and commercial teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Primary Responsibilities- Analyze and design custom steel structures
- Review customer specifications and design criteria
- Perform structural calculations and load analysis
- Prepare complete engineering packages and calculations
- Review engineering drawings and design revisions
- Support fabrication and manufacturing teams
- Resolve technical questions throughout project execution
- Communicate directly with customers regarding engineering requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
- E.I.T. certification preferred;
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure highly desirable - Steel design coursework and/or practical structural steel experience
- Experience using structural analysis and design software
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
