Mechanical Design Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in aerospace or defense product development. This role is focused on designing complex mechanical systems from concept through production while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Design and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies
• Support products throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through testing and production
• Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Work closely with structural, electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams
• Support design reviews, testing, and product improvements
• Apply sound engineering judgment to solve challenging design problems

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of mechanical design engineering experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Experience with CAD and computer-aided engineering tools
• Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Aerospace or defense industry experience
• GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermal analysis
• Parametric design and Model-Based Definition (MBD)
• Material selection and hardware specification
• Manufacturing and production processes

We're interested in engineers who have designed products in environments where quality, reliability, and performance matter. Experience supporting aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, military systems, or other complex mechanical platforms is highly preferred.
