Senior Process Development Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Development Engineer to drive the advancement of SRAM memory technology for next-generation semiconductor solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of device development, process integration, and circuit design, collaborating across multiple business units, design groups, and fabrication facilities.
As a key contributor, you will lead SRAM bitcell design, process flow development, and yield optimization, ensuring high-performance, reliable memory technology. Responsibilities- SRAM Bitcell & Process Integration:
- Define and develop SRAM memory device architectures for high-density, low-power applications.
- Optimize CMOS process flows and device integration strategies to enhance performance and reliability.
- Conduct process simulations to evaluate bitcell functionality, transistor design, and electrical margins.
- Development & Characterization:
- Define and execute structured wafer-level reliability (SWR) experiments and DOE studies.
- Characterize SRAM devices and analyze key performance metrics to drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with design teams to evaluate trade-offs and refine specifications.
- Yield &
Qualification: - Lead efforts to improve SRAM yield, process stability, and manufacturability.
- Develop design rules and process control documents to ensure high-quality production.
- Work closely with fabrication facilities to implement corrective actions and qualification strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Interface with R&D, process engineers, and product teams to align process development with technology roadmaps.
- Manage project schedules, priorities, and deliverables while coordinating across multiple organizations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Experience:
10+ years in CMOS and memory process development, with deep expertise in SRAM design, device physics, and integration. - Strong background in process modeling, transistor optimization, and circuit simulation.
- Demonstrated experience in yield analysis, data analytics, and failure diagnostics.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Spectre simulation, Cadence design/layout tools, and SRAM bitcell simulation.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, Dataware) and scripting languages (Python, PERL).
- Knowledge of non-volatile memory (NVM) technologies is a plus.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve process integration challenges.
