Field Service Engineer - Thermal Management & Cooling Systems (Entry Level)

About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and technically driven Field Service Engineer to join our growing U.S. service team in Texas.
This is an entry-level engineering position designed for recent graduates with a background in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Thermal Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
The selected candidate will receive structured technical training and hands-on guidance from experienced engineers to develop expertise in thermal management solutions, HVAC systems, cooling equipment, equipment troubleshooting, and customer technical support.
This role will support customer sites across Texas, providing field engineering services including equipment installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical problem resolution.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on engineering work, solving technical problems, learning advanced cooling technologies, and building a long-term career in field service engineering.
What You'll Do- Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of thermal management and cooling systems at customer sites
- Assist with startup activities, equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and system performance verification
- Diagnose mechanical, HVAC, and electrical-related equipment issues
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis with support from senior engineers
- Support repair activities and restore equipment operation safely and efficiently
- Issues identified
- Root causes
- Troubleshooting actions
- Corrective measures
- Parts replaced
- Coordinate with internal engineering, technical support, and supply chain teams for issue resolution and parts support
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide high-quality technical service
- Travel throughout Texas as required to support customer projects and service requirements
- Continuously improve technical knowledge through field experience and company training
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited university (Important)
- Major in one of the following fields:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Thermal Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy Engineering
- Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of:
- Mechanical systems
- Cooling systems
- Electrical fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently in a field environment after training
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Valid driver's license required
- Must reside in Texas
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
- Internship, co-op, or project experience related to:
- HVAC systems
- Thermal management
- Mechanical equipment
- Electrical systems
- EPA 608 certification is a plus
- Hands-on experience with tools, testing equipment, or equipment troubleshooting is a plus
