Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Engineer – PE
Location: Dallas, Texas
Relocation: Relocation assistance available
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with strong experience in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical engineering to join our team in Dallas, Texas.
The Engineer will have overall responsibility for the engineering design and documentation of projects, while collaborating with and directing other engineering staff. This role will coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines to ensure projects are fully coordinated, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare engineering design documents in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Monitor project progress and development to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate completion of project documentation and ensure adequate time for QA/QC review.
- Coordinate weekly staffing and manpower requirements with the Project Manager.
- Review project engineering budgets and recommend adjustments when necessary.
- Work with engineering staff to identify project tasks and assign appropriate resources.
- Partner with the Project Manager to manage manpower, project schedules, and engineering budgets.
- Coordinate engineering design with other internal disciplines, external consultants, and clients.
- Support client relationships and contribute to opportunities for repeat business.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to other engineering staff.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong engineering design and project coordination experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering staff.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and manpower.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple disciplines and external consultants.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to relocate to Dallas, Texas
.
