Supply Chain Automation Engineer

Miebach is seeking a Supply Chain Automation Engineer to design and optimize automated warehouses and end-to-end supply chain solutions for global clients. In this role, you will analyze data, model material flows, and develop concepts for automation, robotics, and intralogistics systems. You will support technology selection, create functional specifications, and assist in implementation and testing. Working in a collaborative, international consulting environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across FMCG, retail, automotive, pharma, and manufacturing supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain and warehouse data to identify automation opportunities and performance gaps.
• Design automated warehouse and intralogistics concepts, including material flow, storage, and handling systems.
• Develop models and simulations to evaluate scenarios, capacities, and system performance.
• Support selection and specification of automation technologies, WMS/TMS/WES, and related equipment.
• Prepare functional specifications, layout drawings, and technical documentation for implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to deliver client projects on time and within scope.
• Support testing, commissioning, and ramp-up of automated solutions at client sites.
• Define KPIs, build dashboards, and track performance improvements for implemented solutions.
