Celnet Inc. is seeking reliable and motivated FCC Drive Testing Technicians to support wireless network performance and FCC-related field testing activities across assigned markets.

The technician will travel to designated locations and operate company-provided equipment and vehicles to collect wireless network data according to established project procedures. This is a field-based, travel-oriented position requiring candidates to spend significant time driving between testing locations and working independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform wireless signal and network drive testing across assigned markets.
  • Drive designated routes and testing areas while following project requirements and procedures.
  • Operate smartphones, tablets, laptops, GPS devices, and other testing equipment.
  • Collect and accurately record wireless network data during field activities.
  • Follow assigned routes, schedules, testing procedures, and project instructions.
  • Monitor testing equipment and report any technical or operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity and testing records.
  • Communicate regularly with the project team regarding field progress, issues, and completed assignments.
  • Follow all company safety policies and field procedures while operating company vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of company-provided vehicles and equipment.
  • Travel to different markets and work extended periods in the field as required by the project.
  • Perform other field-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods and work in various outdoor and field environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively as required.
  • Basic computer, smartphone, and tablet skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, routes, and project procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and record information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and project team members.
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, wireless, RF, network testing, or field services.
  • Previous FCC drive testing or wireless network drive-testing experience.
  • Experience using GPS, mapping, data-collection, or wireless testing applications.
  • Familiarity with cellular technologies such as 4G LTE and 5G.
  • Experience working in field-based or travel-intensive positions.
Travel & Field Requirements:
  • Significant local and regional travel is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable spending extended periods driving and working in the field.
  • Work schedules may vary based on project requirements, market assignments, and testing schedules.
  • Candidates may be required to travel and work in multiple cities or markets within the assigned region.

Work Schedule:
  • Schedule: Monday–Saturday, based on project requirements and grid allocation.
