A candidate with 5-7+ years of relevant experience and a Texas PE is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
. - Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination
. - Texas Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
. - 5-7+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
. - Previous experience in an MEP consulting environment
. - Experience designing MEP systems for K-12 schools, colleges, universities, or other commercial facilities
. - Experience with HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building and mechanical codes.
