Job Title: Environment Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Environmental Engineer to support environmental management, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing solutions to minimize environmental impact across projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and prepare related reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as air quality, water quality, soil contamination, and noise levels.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMP).
- Prepare and submit environmental documentation for statutory approvals and clearances.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders for environmental compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance on pollution control measures and sustainability practices.
- Support waste management, water conservation, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain records and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
- Assist in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting and sustainability frameworks.
- Masters degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Civil Engineering (Environmental specialization).
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, consulting, or industrial projects.
- Experience in EIA studies, environmental clearance processes, and compliance reporting preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations (e.g., CPCB, SPCB norms).
- Familiarity with EIA notification, environmental clearance processes, and compliance systems.
- Experience with environmental monitoring tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office, GIS tools, and environmental modelling software (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, construction, environmental consultancy.
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, carbon footprint analysis, and ESG reporting.
- Combination of office-based and fieldwork.
- May require travel to project sites.
