About the Role

As a Project Engineer in our Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program, you will gain critical construction skills through in‑field learning and development. Core competencies include:

  • Business development and client relations
  • Field resource management

Project Engineers build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more.

About the Team

This position will support the VSL Dallas team long term and will initially be positioned on the Simon Kenton Bridge repair project. Dallas' primary market is post‑tensioning solutions, with an emphasis on strengthening and repairing parking structures and heavy civil bridge work.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • Ability and eagerness to travel 30‑50% of the year
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from office to job sites
