Position
Project Engineer III – Dallas, Texas – Perm Placement – Salary $130K–$160K plus benefits.
Job OverviewMentor engineering and CAD teams in physical layout, protection and control design. Serve as sealing engineer for project deliverables, maintain customer relationships and support future business development. Reports to Divisional Manager.
Responsibilities- Mentor and schedule work for junior engineers and designers.
- Act as customer point of contact for active and upcoming projects.
- Perform engineering calculations and direct project design using industry standards.
- Prepare complex documentation, including specifications and bid packages.
- Conduct detailed drawing reviews to ensure clarity and design accuracy.
- Oversee and train Project Engineers I and II.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for project tasks.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of applicable experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proficiency in substation engineering, including physical layout, protection and control (P&C), relay settings, and commissioning.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and CAD staff.
- Client-facing experience.
- Experience developing proposals, specifications, and bid documents.

CompensationPay Range: $130,000–$160,000 plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.
