ICT Design Engineer

Join a nationally recognized engineering consulting firm delivering complex, high-performance building projects across healthcare, data centers, commercial, higher education, aviation, and mission-critical facilities. The Dallas Technology Consulting team is seeking a Senior ICT Design Engineer to design and coordinate telecommunications and ICT infrastructure for a variety of complex projects nationwide.

• Design ICT systems including structured cabling, fiber optics, telecommunications rooms, backbone and horizontal cabling, and network pathways
• Prepare design drawings, riser diagrams, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinate designs with MEP, architectural, and structural teams
• Perform site surveys, field investigations, and existing conditions assessments
• Support construction administration including RFIs, submittals, field reports, and punch lists
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with owners, architects, contractors, and vendors
• Ensure designs comply with TIA, BICSI, NEC, and applicable industry standards

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of ICT, telecommunications, or low-voltage design experience within an engineering consulting environment
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, and telecommunications systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD;
  Revit experience preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Preferred: RCDD certification, CCNA, DCDC, OSP, or PE designation. Experience with healthcare, mission-critical, commercial, or higher education projects is a plus.
