Position: Principal Producer (Product)
Description

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Principal Producer (Product) to join our team. In this role, you partner with production across multiple studios and report to the Product group to accelerate our game team's production and help solve core production and development issues. You will work across a diverse portfolio spanning Indie, AA, and AAA titles, bringing a depth of perspective that scales across different team sizes, budgets, and development complexities.

If you've led game production teams across the whole development lifecycle many times, and understand live game production inside out, this is the role for you. You'll be the force that enables our developers to make cutting edge experiences by building tools and processes to guide studios through the minefield of production. Our studios have some of the most accomplished talent in the industry, and you'll work with them to be the collaboration catalyst to develop the best production practices across the whole business.

You'll also be integral to the evolution of our Development Framework as we scale and support live game services to empower our game studios, providing turnkey solutions to remove common pitfalls.

WHO YOU ARE:
  • A production leader with a proven track record of delivering high-quality games across Indie, AA, and AAA development, through all stages of the lifecycle, leveraging best production practices while maintaining a positive culture.
  • You are a self-starter with a passion for production excellence and a connector who brings experts together to solve complex, business-wide problems.
  • You love working closely with studio production teams to build strong partnerships, delivering systems and services that allow teams to ship efficiently and confidently.
  • You enjoy setting up workflows and pipelines that can scale effectively across teams, studios, and business groups.
  • You have a passion for optimizing the end-to-end process of planning and delivery, with a broad toolkit of production methodologies and the judgment to apply the right approach in the right context.
  • You bring strong experience in the concept development and product greenlight process, with the ability to incubate ideas, guide them through validation, and confidently pitch them to stakeholders when ready.
  • You are no stranger to production tools such as Jira, Shotgun, and Excel, and know how to choose the right tools and processes to optimize delivery outcomes.
  • You can translate across all game disciplines and create plans and solutions that empower teams through cross-discipline collaboration and development-driven production.
  • Accomplished building plans, milestones, and driving release schedules for both boxed and live service games, with hands-on experience operating live games at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Work within the Product Group, reporting to the Director of Production to facilitate studio onboarding to our Development Framework.
  • Partner directly with studios to provide hands-on production leadership, implementing processes and owning planning, tracking, and milestone delivery.
  • Lead and support the concept incubation and greenlight process, helping teams shape ideas, validate opportunities, and prepare pitches for product approval.
  • Develop, evolve, and share best practice processes for all stages of game development from a production perspective.
  • Drive the evolution of the Development Framework bidirectionally from studio and business feedback, iterating, updating, implementing, and communicating improvements.
  • Operate both strategically and tactically to execute Product Group initiatives, tracking and reporting progress against roadmaps to key stakeholders.
  • Communicate Product Group activities, status, risks, and plans across production, engineering, QA, services, marketing, and business development.
  • Plan milestones, provide estimates, manage risks, and ensure internal and external deliveries are completed on time.
  • Own and maintain strong communication flows and healthy relationships across all stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and mentor for producers, helping resolve complex challenges and elevate team capability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 8+ years of professional game industry experience, with multiple shipped titles (end-to-end) across console and PC as a producer or program manager.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully shipping games-candidates should have clear ownership and impact across one or more shipped titles.
  • Strong experience leading or contributing to the concept development and product greenlight process, including pitching and incubating new ideas.
  • In-depth knowledge of production and project management methodologies including Kanban, Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Experience with Live Operations, Community Management, and Marketing/PR teams for GaaS titles.
  • Background emphasizes production leadership over purely technical execution, with a clear focus on delivery, team enablement, and outcomes.
  • Experience building and leading teams with a people-first culture that…
