Talent for "Small Town Drama" Mockumentary Comedy Series

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting call for "Small Town Drama," an upcoming mockumentary comedy series, seeking actors for several paid principal and recurring roles. Rate:
Paid. Filming is expected to take place during late July and early August 2026 in the Dallas‑Fort‑Worth area. If interested, please submit with the subject line: CASTING SUBMISSION – CHARACTER A (or B, C, D, or

Headshot, Resume, Acting Reel (if available), Contact Information. Selected applicants will receive additional audition materials and production details.

Character A (Female, 30‑40 years old)
  • All ethnicities.
  • Former adult film performer who now lives a quieter small‑town life.
  • Grounded, funny, honest perspective.
  • Confident, charismatic, quick‑witted.
  • Comedic role played as a real person rather than a stereotype.
  • Important:
    This role does not require nudity, simulated sexual content, intimacy scenes, or explicit performance of any kind.
  • Recurring Guest Star Role.
Character B (Female, 60‑70 years old)
  • All ethnicities.
  • Sharp‑witted small‑town mother who loves her family but never misses a chance to tell them exactly what they are doing wrong.
  • Intelligent, opinionated, practical, stubborn.
  • Strong comedic timing is important, especially with dry and deadpan delivery.
  • Recurring Role.
Character C (Male, 60‑70 years old)
  • All ethnicities.
  • Warm, supportive family man, friendly, easy‑going, and genuinely proud of the people around him.
  • Often acts as peacemaker when family tensions arise.
  • Must balance comedy with heartfelt family moments.
  • Recurring Role.
Character D (Male, 18‑25 years old)
  • All ethnicities.
  • Charismatic college student involved in a local theatre production.
  • Natural, confident, socially comfortable without being arrogant.
  • Looking for someone who feels authentic on camera and can develop believable chemistry with another cast member.
  • Recurring Role.
Character E (Female, 18‑22 years old)
  • All ethnicities.
  • Bright and intelligent young woman with quick sense of humor and strong personality. Initially appears sweet and wholesome, but there is more depth and complexity beneath the surface.
  • Must be comfortable with both comedic and dramatic material.
  • Character is a senior at the local catholic school. Because of the nature of the role, we are looking for 18 years or older.
