Harris + Co is partnering with a global, independent valuation firm that specializes exclusively in valuation and advisory services. The firm works with Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and their portfolio businesses, delivering valuations for M&A transactions as well as complex financial and tax reporting needs.
The firm is seeking an Associate to join its Financial Reporting practice. In this role, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of valuation projects and work closely with senior professionals on high-quality technical engagements. Typical assignments will include business valuations, purchase price allocations, impairment testing, and equity compensation valuations.
Responsibilities- Support valuation analyses and prepare deliverables across various financial reporting engagements.
- Conduct research, build financial models, and analyze market and company data.
- Work collaboratively with senior team members and contribute to the development of client‑ready presentations and reports.
- Manage workload across multiple ongoing projects and meet critical deadlines.
- 2–3 years of experience in valuation or public accounting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Progress toward ASA, CFA, or ABV designations is preferred.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, deadline‑driven environment.
