Senior Forensic Analyst – AIG
Join to apply for the Senior Forensic Analyst role s position invites a highly motivated individual to play a crucial frontline role within AIG’s Forensic Accounting Unit, leveraging technical expertise to support the best forensic unit in the industry.
Responsibilities- Utilize accounting principles and techniques to obtain, interpret, record, and analyze a variety of data from all business types to assist in the quantification and measurement of commercial business insurance claims.
- Work with a team and supervisors, receiving mentorship to further develop your forensic experience.
- Apply familiarity with Commercial Property and Cyber Coverages and incorporate their application into forensic analysis.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to integrate findings into loss measurement.
- Compute alternative measurement computations to assist in settlement of claims.
- Maintain strong organizational and communication skills to track and document progression of claims.
- Be detail‑oriented, problem‑solving, self‑motivated, proactive, and forward‑thinking.
- Travel occasionally as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing theory and application of business theory.
- Minimum 5 years of insurance loss analysis experience.
- Ability to manage, analyze, and summarize measurements of complex commercial business insurance claims with limited direction.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
- Licensed or accredited CPA preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $84,000–$107,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the incentive plan.
