Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Plant Controllers to join the finance team of a large, private equity-backed manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the finance liaison between the plant’s General Manager and corporate GL/accounting teams
• Lead all aspects of cost accounting at the plant level, including tracking manufacturing costs, analyzing variances, and ensuring proper standard costing
• Provide operational and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Support month-end close processes (minimal GL responsibility; focus is more on cost and operations analysis)
• Partner with plant leadership to monitor and improve financial performance, identify inefficiencies, and develop cost control strategies
• Work cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A and Accounting teams
• Collaborate with plant operations to understand and explain cost drivers, variances, and performance metrics
• Assist in ERP implementation/integration initiatives, where applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and standard costing
• D365 experience is a strong plus (especially for the Jacksonville role)
• Epicor experience is helpful (relevant for the IL or TX roles)
