Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Lead, retain and hold team accountable
• Partner with key customers and vendors to manage the overall financial relationship including pricing, billing, collections etc.
• Ensure accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting is accurate and in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Conduct year-end closing, reconciliation, etc.
• Prepare & review Monthly Consolidate and Departmental Financial Statement
• Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare monthly reporting
• Provide insight, analytics, and key performance indicators to the management team for decision making.
• Supervise and develop a small team of accounting professionals
• Coordinate and oversee the annual financial statement audits
• Manage Fixed Asset and Depreciation reporting
• Manage ASC 842 Lease Accounting Standard
• Monthly Sales tax calculation and reporting
• 1099 Preparation

Education & Experience:

• A financial leader with 7 years of experience
• Great Plains Dynamics and Microsoft Business Central experience preferred
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Experience in multi-unit retail
• Exhibits well-developed communication skills; is clear, concise, motivating and persuasive
