Description
As our Controller, you’ll own the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our financial reporting across a growing, multi-site car wash platform. You’ll be responsible for the monthly close, financial statements, revenue and cash accounting, and internal controls—ensuring our numbers are right, our processes are tight, and our systems scale as we grow.
This role is about operational accounting excellence. You’ll partner closely with Operations, FP&A, and IT to ensure site-level results roll up cleanly, memberships and cash are properly accounted for, and leadership can trust the numbers they’re using to run the business.

YOU COULD BE A FIT IF YOU- Have 5+ years of experience in controllership or corporate accounting (multi‑site, retail, hospitality, or car wash experience strongly preferred).
- Have deep knowledge of GAAP and hands‑on ownership of month‑end close and financial statements.
- Are experienced with high-volume revenue, cash reconciliation, and POS‑driven businesses.
- Are comfortable owning internal controls, audit support, and lender reporting.
- Have strong experience with ERP/accounting systems (Business Central) and Excel.
- Are organized, deadline‑driven, and passionate about building scalable, repeatable accounting processes.
- Can partner effectively with non‑finance teams while maintaining accounting rigor.

- Led the monthly close process across multiple car wash locations, delivering accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensured membership revenue, deferred revenue, and paid wash revenue were properly recorded and reconciled.
- Owned daily and monthly cash reconciliations across POS systems, merchant processors, and bank accounts.
- Reviewed balance sheet reconciliations and resolved discrepancies before close.
- Partnered with Operations and IT to troubleshoot data flow issues between POS systems and the general ledger. n
- Prepared financial reporting packages for the CFO, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Supported audit, lender, or investor requests with clean documentation and schedules.
- Identified opportunities to automate reconciliations, streamline journal entries, and improve close efficiency.

This is a full‑time, salaried role based at our corporate office in Dallas, TX. Hours are typically Monday–Friday, with some flexibility during close cycles and peak reporting periods.
