The Role: Specialized Account Services Specialist

The Team: The Enterprise solutions Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join our Global Specialized Account Services Team.

The Role and Product: S&P’s WSO (Wall Street Office) provides real-time access to client portfolios and reporting insights for asset management, deal administration, trading activities, and P&L reporting. WSO supports complex aspects of alternatives asset management in a scalable solution that can be hosted software or fully outsourced managed service.

The Impact: You will work within a dynamic team, responsible for client-facing operations-related items, data research, and processing on the WSO Specialized Account Services Team, primarily supporting WSO users and their loan processing needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients and the business by coordinating workflow and ensuring prompt resolution between internal and external teams. Includes data reconciliation and validation of trades and positions to ensure syndicated facility data integrity.
  • Timely and accurate processing of all transactions: borrowings, paydown, interest, fees, payment in kind, restructures, amendments, and trade settlement.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash between internal systems (WSO) and client trustee/custodian accounts.
  • Review and action system-generated reports to facilitate timely and accurate data.
  • Handle requests from different departments and clients within an hour turnaround time.
  • Partner with internal and external parties to resolve breaks with clients, trustees, vendors, administrative agents, and team members.
  • Adhere to best practices, Service Level Agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately review and maintain asset and contract data; monitor and action exceptions; perform additional syndicated loan maintenance as needed.
  • Coach and assist other analysts and leadership when needed.
  • Strict adherence to processing deadlines and quality-controlled operational processes aligned with LSTA/LMA/Private Deals/Middle Market standards for loan transactions and trades.
  • Identify internal and external processing and system-related issues and collaborate on resolution plans and escalation where needed.
  • Lead cross-product research and projects, workflow enhancements, and direct client engagement where necessary.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for Solutions products and services; participate in client meetings, analyze needs, and make recommendations on operational flows and product usage.
  • Capture and channel user feedback, partnering with leaders, peers, product teams, sales, and relationship managers to service clients and improve products and services.
  • Support daily project management, data validation, and data deliverables; cross-train with neighboring divisions as needed.
Compensation/Benefits

S&P Global states the anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000. Final base salary will depend on geographic location, experience, skills, and certifications.   • Ability to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise
