Location: North Dallas area (Hybrid)
Compensation: $170,000–$189,000 + bonus
Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization with a strong mission and a commitment to operational excellence. Due to continued expansion, our client is adding an Accounting Director to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Director will oversee core accounting functions and ensure timely, accurate GAAP reporting. This role will work cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and private equity partners while driving process improvement and supporting acquisition integration activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and support GAAP financial statement preparation
- Deliver reporting packages and monthly financials aligned with PE expectations
- Coordinate audits and work with third parties for year-end tax filings
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting policies and procedures
- Identify process improvements to support scalability and efficiency
- Support acquisitions including diligence and post-close integration
- Partner with multi-site teams to standardize accounting practices and ensure consistency
- Support Net Suite usage and enhancements, including training and ongoing financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with in a private equity-backed environment strongly preferred
- Healthcare experience required, ideally within multi-location/provider-based settings
- Experience with cash-to-accrual conversions and revenue recognition preferred
- Net Suite experience required (implementation experience a plus)
