Director of Finance – Multi‑Location Real Estate / Data Centers

A rapidly scaling data center / real estate organization is hiring a Director of Finance to lead financial modeling, capital allocation, and strategic analysis across multiple locations. This role supports major infrastructure investments, multi‑location growth, and executive‑level decision‑making while managing a small analytical team.

• Build and maintain complex three‑statement financial models (IS, BS, CF)
• Translate operational data center metrics (kW sold, utilization, churn, pricing escalations) into financial projections
• Perform valuation work including DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comps
• Support long‑term strategic planning: capacity expansion, new builds, and market entry
• Evaluate ROI, IRR, payback for capital projects, acquisitions, and development initiatives
• Support debt and equity financing processes, including covenant modeling and investor presentations
• Partner with operations, development, and sales to integrate pipeline, cost drivers, and utilization data
• Provide leadership with financial insights, scenario modeling, and recommendations
• Create board‑and investor‑ready presentations summarizing strategy and performance
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of analysts
• Improve forecasting processes, modeling tools, and investment evaluation frameworks

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong experience building three‑statement models from scratch
• Multi‑location real estate or infrastructure industry experience required; data center experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel and strong proficiency with financial systems (Net Suite, SAP, Salesforce) and BI tools
• Ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to executives and investors
