The Finance Manager supports the Finance organization, Business Operations VPs and Business Unit GM/Vice President. Key activities include the development & maintenance of systems, especially those providing Business Intelligence. He/she will drive the financial & planning cycle for their business unit including annual, monthly, and weekly budgets & forecasts, as well as required ad‑hoc analyses.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Owns the design, development, and maintenance of Operations/Finance business intelligence infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Participate in the development & maintenance of systems, especially those providing Business Intelligence.
  • Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processes and business applications, introducing new processes and toolsets and process re‑engineering.
  • Provides information to Finance and Business Unit organization by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Participates and contributes in systems development and enhancements project for both Finance and the Business supports month‑end closing process and controlling procedures by preparing journal entries and accruals for Shared Services accounting team and maintains supporting documentation for audit procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive but summarized reporting package to monitor the performance each month in all critical areas – sales, gross margin, and expenses.
  • Create variance analyses compared to forecast and budget, while looking at past trends to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Develop a business partner relationship with their Management Team by providing them with the insight to understand sales, margin, expenses, and balance sheet but also by customer and product.
  • Identify and implement ideas to automate and streamline monthly tasks and reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of Professional Experience, preferably with focus on financial analysis and/or Data Analytics.
  • Proven working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint and data analysis tools such as SAP, Essbase, SQL, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation, effectively communicating with all levels of the organization, in a team environment and with management.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in building business intelligence infrastructure and solutions (from data warehouse development to interactive dashboards).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Managerial Experience.
  • Experience in a multi‑national company.
