WorkStructure
Lincoln International follows a hybrid work structure with an emphasis on in‑office collaboration. Our employees work in our New York or Dallas office Monday through Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesLincoln International is seeking Analysts to join our rapidly growing Valuations & Opinions Group (VOG). Successful candidates have strong cognitive and interpersonal abilities, want to develop their professional and personal skills and are motivated by the prospect of building a leading valuations practice. The Analyst position within the Valuations & Opinions Group provides an excellent opportunity to become an expert in valuations.
The Analyst serves as the analytical and organizational anchor for the Valuations & Opinions Group, working in an entrepreneurial environment with many opportunities to contribute.
- Preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses
- Writing valuation reports and presentations
- Valuation and analysis of a variety of financial instruments including mortgage whole loans, student loans, consumer loans, RMBS, CMBS, CLO, ABS, and other structured finance securities
- Development and maintenance of valuation models for complex financial instruments, including private structured finance securities
- Coordinating recurring valuation projects with team members across multiple geographies
- Interacting with clients and preparing deliverables
- Maintaining proprietary valuation databases
- Tracking capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets
- Preparing marketing materials for meetings with potential clients
- Supporting the senior members of the Valuations & Opinions Group

- Six months to two years of structured products experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or Economics from a top‑tier institution
- Strong academic record of 3.5 GPA or above (both undergraduate and graduate, if applicable)
- Proficiency at financial modeling with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong writing skills and experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Effective organizational skills and the aptitude to manage people and work products
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients
- One year of professional experience in valuations, corporate finance, fixed income or accounting strongly preferred
Lincoln International is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status. The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $105,000 on an annual basis (lowest to highest) and is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, revenue‑based metrics and business or organizational needs.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
