* ONEOK is seeking a highly motivated Gas Marketing Accounting Manager to join our team. This position leads the settlement and operational accounting reporting for our Gas Marketing activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent results in a fast-paced commercial environment. The role is responsible for accounting and settlement activities related to gas purchase and sales transactions, pricing and contractual terms, and related commercial activity, while serving as a key partner to marketing, trading, and other internal stakeholders.
The position owns the end-to-end process, maintains a strong control environment, and ensures activities align with GAAP and internal accounting policies, supported by a firm understanding of the systems used for settlement and reporting.
Key responsibilities include the supervision of a team of settlement professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, technical growth, and engagement. The role requires timely issue resolution, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to respond effectively to evolving business needs driven by commercial activity. In addition, the position leads monthly financial results discussions, supports contract interpretation as it relates to financial outcomes, and drives process improvements through standardization and automation.
The role plays a key part in audit support, continuous improvement, and ad-hoc business needs, all focused on strengthening controls, reducing risk, and supporting the success of the business.
This position requires strong leadership and decision-making skills, advanced analytical capabilities, deep expertise in midstream accounting concepts, and the ability to interpret and apply complex contract and pricing terms to financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams, collaborating across commercial and accounting functions, and supporting a fast-moving marketing environment with sound judgment and responsiveness.
Proficiency with TIES, Allegro, Right Angle, or another ETRM system is highly preferred.

* + Plan, organize, and direct financial accounting, and account classification functions. Supervise employees engaged in those activities
+ Analyze accounting policies, procedures, and corresponding controls to ensure regulatory compliance and integrity of financial statements and/or reports
+ Monitor and maintain accounting and financial reporting systems; research, evaluate, and propose system changes and/or development of new accounting systems to expedite accounting controls
+ Provide information and assistance to management, employees, regulatory agencies, auditors, and others relative to classification and/or accounting treatment of taxes, revenues, earnings, expenses, policies, and procedures
+ Compile, prepare, verify, and/or approve information and reports including but not limited to:

** Education*
* + Bachelor's Degree in accounting, or other related field with regional and/or general treasury and accounting experience to include the following

Experience with and thorough knowledge of GAAP, company accounting methods, practices, and procedures
