Job Description
Post Investment Group and its affiliated entities (“Post”) is in expansion mode and is seeking qualified Asset Managers to join its growing team.
Responsibilities- Evaluate overall performance to assist in strategic business planning
- Assist the Head of Asset Management in establishing and enforcing benchmarks, guidelines, and policies
- Perform monthly financial reviews, including creating strategies to enhance asset performance, exceed budgeted and underwritten cash flow, and complete monthly reclasses and accruals for clean financial statements
- Review and improve property operations including leasing, marketing strategy and spend, expense analysis, staffing, maintenance efficiency, and property condition
- Negotiate major vendor contracts and pursue portfolio-wide expense reductions through vendor bidding
- Work collaboratively with property management teams to identify challenges and execute timely and effective solutions, including management of budgets, staffing, capex, and other property programs
- Assist in renovation execution alongside the renovation team, including initial planning, coordination with general contractors on delivery timelines, and monitoring impact on leasing and rental rates
- Conduct regular site visits as needed, including review of curb appeal, capex projects, common areas, vacant units, and personnel issues
- Problem solve property and portfolio-level issues through research, analysis, and implementation
- Assist in conducting due diligence and financial modeling for new acquisitions and dispositions
- Oversee and mentor Associates and Analysts to help develop future Asset Managers within the company
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all regulatory programs associated with individual properties within the assigned portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four‑year college or university preferred, ideally in science, real estate, business, or finance
- Minimum of 7 years of hands‑on multifamily asset management and/or property management experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite products
- Familiarity with Yardi and Entrata systems preferred
- Analytical and results‑oriented mindset
- Ability and willingness to travel to properties as required
This position reports to the Vice President of Asset Management. The role offers competitive base compensation, performance bonuses, and benefits. Flexible hours are available, with a hybrid work schedule of 3 to 4 days in office and/or field. Multi‑state travel is required.
Additional Asset Management Responsibilities- Produce roll‑up and exception reporting models to identify areas needing performance improvement

- Monitor and analyze property operating financial metrics to guide benchmark underwriting assumptions for the existing portfolio and future transactions
