Responsibilities:
Source, Trade and Settle municipal bonds for portfolio managers.
Creatively trade option strategies for SMA accounts.
Model and trade equities for discretionary and non discretionary strategies.
Work alongside our custodial partners and street brokers for best execution.
Update and maintain various discretionary models; run drift reports.
Work with investment team to assist with educating the advisory team for ongoing client dialogue.
Serve as a resource for all markets and advisors regarding current investment ideas, market color and themes related to non-discretionary and discretionary strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field or 10+ years experience trading markets.
At least 1-3 years of trading experience; prior experience on RIA, trust, or brokerage trading desk preferred.
Understanding of equities, municipal bonds and exchange traded options.
Ability to collaborate with and positively influence team members.
Strong communications and written skills.
Keen attention to detail on a consistent basis.
Prefer OMS system experience in EZE, Charles River, or similar system.
Preferred:
Series 65 licensed (or able to obtain in first 90 days)
