Treasury Associate

Treasury Associate Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex - Hybrid, 2 days onsite Compensation: $80-100K annually w/bonus One of Vaco's PE-backed clients is looking to onboard a Treasury/Cash Accountant. This will be part of a midsized team in a complex environment with a ton of intercompany entities and transactions more complicated than average. Cash Accountants will be responsible for reconciling all cash activity, processing and inputting wires for critical financial transactions, and recording journal entries for debt payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management:
Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow requirements. Bank Reconciliations:
Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash transactions. Transaction Processing:
Record and categorize cash transactions in the general ledger. Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports related to cash activities. Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies related to cash management. Audit Support:
Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and response to inquiries.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on cash management preferred. Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
