Role Description

The Universal Banker is a full-time, on-site role based in Arlington, TX. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service by greeting clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions. Daily responsibilities include opening and maintaining deposit accounts, processing transactions, handling cash accurately, and assisting with loan applications or inquiries. The role also involves educating clients on bank products, services, and digital tools, proactively identifying cross‑selling opportunities, and resolving customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.

The Universal Banker collaborates with branch team members to support branch sales goals, ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, and maintain a secure, organized work environment.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with deposits and related account services, including opening, maintaining, and explaining deposit products.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse clients and build lasting relationships.
  • Accurate cash handling experience, including accepting payments, balancing drawers, and following security procedures.
  • Familiarity with loans, such as basic consumer or small business loan products, application support, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to learn and use banking software, digital platforms, and standard office applications efficiently.
  • Previous retail banking, credit union, or financial services experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in banking or finance is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and ethical business practices.
