Investment Funds Associate Attorney

A highly respected AmLaw 200 firm is seeking an Investment Funds Associate to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated private investment fund matters within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment serving high-level sponsors, investors, and private capital clients.

The firm is seeking a motivated associate with strong transactional experience who is interested in handling complex fund formation and investment management matters across a broad range of industries and asset classes.

The Role

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

  • Private equity fund formation
  • Hedge funds and venture capital funds
  • Real estate and private credit funds
  • Fund structuring and regulatory matters
  • Sponsor-side and investor-side representation
  • Investment adviser and compliance matters
  • Subscription agreements and investor negotiations
  • General corporate and transactional support for fund clients

Attorneys will work closely with sophisticated sponsors, institutional investors, family offices, and emerging fund managers on high-value transactions and strategic initiatives.

Ideal Background
  • 3–7 years of investment funds or sophisticated corporate transactional experience
  • Experience with fund formation, sponsor representation, or investment management matters preferred
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • JD from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Texas Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
