Position: Assistant Controller

Experience: Manager

Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 per year

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, including AP, AR, and tax-related activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of accounting data across multiple entities
• Review financial statements for portfolio companies, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support and coordinate audits throughout the year by working closely with external auditors and preparing required documentation
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries for various companies
• Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support the team with leadership, assist with process improvements, and help with special projects as needed

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA Required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and financial statement preparation
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data to non-financial personnel
