We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Financial Controller to lead a high‑impact accounting function. This Financial Controller will oversee critical financial processes, guide a technical team, and ensure strong operational and reporting integrity. The ideal Financial Controller brings leadership strength, technical expertise, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Location: 100% On‑Site near Dallas, TX
• Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

• Provide end‑to‑end oversight of financial workflows, ensuring accuracy from initial transaction through reporting.
• Identify process breakdowns and resolve issues proactively before escalation is required.
• Monitor risk areas and elevate concerns appropriately as a strategic Financial Controller.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team, delivering consistent feedback and performance management.
• Establish clear expectations and accountability across the team.
• Partner cross‑functionally to align accounting operations with broader business objectives.
• Drive process improvements and enhance system efficiencies in a Financial Controller capacity.

• Oversee complex revenue recognition matters, including ASC 606 application.
• Conduct detailed contract reviews and provide guidance on revenue treatment.
• Collaborate closely with commercial teams to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
• Support a technically focused accounting environment with high visibility to business performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Strong technical accounting background, especially in revenue recognition.
• Ability to operate effectively in a lean, high‑impact team environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
