Senior Tax Manager

Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid (average 3 days in office per week).

• Serve as engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution and final deliverables.
• Assist senior tax leadership with partnership income tax planning, including modeling of partnership income allocations and partnership acquisition/disposition planning.
• Prepare documentation of significant partnership transactions and assist with transaction documentation.
• Identify opportunities to expand the scope of current engagements through client needs assessment and proactive tax planning.
• Actively participate in proposal development.
• Manage a team of U.S. and India‑based staff associates, including interns, providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
• Gain the respect and confidence of tax partners and directors through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

• 7+ years of work experience in a National or Big‑4 public accounting firm or related industry; complex operating partnership tax issues required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master of Taxation or JD preferred.
• Active CPA license or passing of bar examination required.
• Strong tax research and writing skills.
• In‑depth experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel modeling tools.
• Knowledge of tax preparation software such as Pro System FX or Go System Tax.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
