LHH is looking to fill a Finance Manager with a prominent wealth management company in Dallas. In this role, you will work closely with Finance and the operations teams to drive key business initiatives and oversee compensation programs.
This position reports to the Senior Director within Finance and will have defined growth to Director. We are ideally seeking a candidate that has financial services or wealth management industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:Compensation Programs
- Assist in the maintenance and reporting of compensation data
- Oversee data management and reporting related to compensation
- Support annual compensation budgeting processes
- Develop and maintain compensation and revenue forecasting models (advisor payouts, bonus/profit-sharing projections, scenario analyses)
- Provide ongoing and ad hoc compensation analytics and reporting
- Manage profit-sharing programs, including:
- Maintaining legal documentation
- Calculating and distributing profit-sharing schedules
- Maintain and report on firm waterfall models and cap table
- Oversee issuance and repurchase of equity holdings
- Support legal processes related to hiring and onboarding Producer teams
- Partner with internal teams to track and manage performance of new Producers
- Generate and manage promissory notes (documentation, amortization, payments)
- Support forecasting and reporting across:
- Headcount
- Advisor/Producer performance
- Revenue metrics
- Analyze variances versus forecast and identify key drivers
- Support firm-wide reporting on compensation, headcount, and performance metrics
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and organization
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Collaborate with technology partners on system and process improvements
- Lead and support ad hoc reporting and analytical projects
- 5+ years of experience in financial services
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proactive mindset toward growth and continuous improvement
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems
