Bookkeeper

A well-established Dallas-area family office and private investment partnership is seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team. This is an on-site role supporting back-office operations for a large portfolio and communicating with outside fund managers. The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing fund communications, tracking capital activity, processing wire transfers, and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple accounts.

Type of Position: Direct Hire

• Assist with the completion of new fund subscription agreements for signature and submit those agreements to fund managers in a timely manner.
• Manage communications, reports, and notices from fund managers and digitally file those communications.
• Monitor, track, and initiate wire transfers for capital calls from fund managers (100+ per month).
• Monitor fund manager distributions, ensuring funds are received and deposited.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheet of cash flows and current cash balance.
• Assist in gathering data and communicating with accountants regarding tax issues.
• Assist with gathering K-1s from fund managers for tax purposes.
• Enter, print, and code checks using Quick Books for multiple accounts.

• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Knowledge of Apple iOS software
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to learn and follow established administrative procedures
• Strong communication skills; ability to interface with fund managers, partners, and outside accountants and financial advisors
• Team player
