SBA Loan Servicing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full servicing lifecycle of SBA loans, from pre-close through payoff
• Conduct pre-closing audits to ensure all documentation and requirements are in place
• Coordinate with loan closers to facilitate a smooth transition to closing
• Collect deposits, order appraisals, and prepare loan documentation packages
• Manage post-closing loan setup and ongoing servicing responsibilities
• Process borrower payments and maintain accurate loan records
• Request and collect required documentation from borrowers
• Monitor loans for compliance with SBA and regulatory guidelines
• Handle borrower inquiries and service requests in a timely manner
• Assist with problem loan situations and ensure proper handling and resolution
• Maintain organization of collateral, closing documents, and loan files

• Experience in loan servicing, preferably within SBA lending
• Strong understanding of loan documentation, payments, and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently without micromanagement
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with borrowers
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
• Banking background preferred, but institution type is flexible
• Hybrid schedule:
  In‑office Tuesday and Thursday; remote Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• First 30 days require in‑office attendance Monday–Friday for training (flexible based on progress)
• Flexible work hours, typically between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM core window
• 90‑day introductory period to ensure mutual fit
• Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually dependent on experience
• Annual merit‑based increases
