Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 + bonus based on team production

Opportunity

The Dallas Market Leader is a pivotal, senior-level role responsible for leading the Taylor White’s Dallas office. This individual will serve as the face of Taylor White in the DFW market — building client relationships, driving revenue across both our Permanent Placement and Consulting divisions, and developing the professionals on their team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will have the autonomy to build something meaningful, backed by the infrastructure, brand, and 25-year track record of a nationally recognized firm.

This is not a pure producer role and it is not a pure management role — it requires someone who can do both, and do both well.

What You'll Own Team Leadership & Daily Operations
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and development of both the Permanent Placement and Consulting divisions
  • Set individual and team production goals; hold the team accountable to activity metrics and revenue targets
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture consistent with Taylor White's values
  • Partner with firm leadership on hiring, onboarding, and continued development of Dallas-based team members
Market Leadership & Business Development
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Dallas office across both the Permanent Placement and Consulting divisions
  • Build and cultivate a robust client portfolio spanning corporations, PE-backed companies, family offices, and high-growth organizations in the DFW market
  • Serve as a senior relationship partner to CFOs, Controllers, and finance leaders — leveraging a genuine understanding of their world to become a trusted advisor, not just a vendor
  • Represent Taylor White at Dallas-area networking events, professional associations, and community organizations to drive brand visibility and market share
Who You Are

You started your career in accounting or finance — and that foundation is central to how you operate. You understand the work your candidates do and the problems your clients face because you have lived it. When you transitioned into recruiting, you found your calling: bringing together exceptional talent and the organizations that need them. You've built a career doing exactly that, and now you're ready to lead a market.

You

bring:
  • A background in Accounting and/or Finance prior to entering the staffing and recruitment industry (public accounting, accounting advisory, corporate accounting/finance, etc. — CPA a plus)
  • Significant experience in finance and accounting-focused recruiting (both perm and consulting), with demonstrated success across the accounting and finance spectrum — from Staff Accountants to CFOs
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing both a Permanent Placement practice and a Consulting/Interim Staffing practice — you understand the distinct rhythms, economics, and client expectations of each
  • A track record of personally generating business (you are comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a room, and asking for the business) while simultaneously developing the people around you
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and holding accountable a team of recruiters and/or business development professionals
  • Existing relationships in the DFW finance and accounting market — or the demonstrated ability and hunger to build them quickly
  • The maturity and executive presence to represent Taylor White at the highest levels of client organizations
