Position: Fund Accounting Manager, Private Equity, ONLY 2 days in office (135K-140K)

LHH is working with a company in the investment management industry that is seeking a new Funf Accounting Manager. They have a diverse business model encompassing investment accounting, equity funds, and a variety of other investment structures. This role will play a pivotal role in their private equity fund group. As they expand the funds business, this position is crucial for overseeing full private funds accounting and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and.

This role is ONLY 2 days in office and pays 135K-140K.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee private funds accounting and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee audits of 100+ entities within the private funds.
  • Direct and oversee quarterly reporting to investors, including financial statements, portfolio valuation, investor capital account statements, and supplemental investor reports.
  • Lead the quarterly portfolio valuation process, ensuring accuracy and reasonableness of assumptions.
  • Oversee capital call and distribution processes for all funds.
  • Manage the performance track record for all funds.
  • Enhance internal reports with financial and fleet information for each fund.
  • Oversee income tax filings for offshore subsidiaries.
  • Support the Tax Department with U.S. tax compliance and investor tax withholding requirements.
  • Oversee tax planning and strategy in collaboration with the Private Funds CFO and Tax Department.
  • Oversee the preparation of forecasts for transaction-related cash requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the private funds accounting team.
  • Oversee cash management and subscription line projections.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally public accounting.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff.
  • Track record of driving continuous process improvements.
  • Comfort working in an automated environment using Investran.
