Mortgage Closing Specialist – Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

The Mortgage Closing Specialist will manage the loan closing process and serve as BFI’s representative throughout closing. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and distributing loan documentation and settlement statements; working on title insurance processes; coordinating loan closings and the initial disbursement of funds; handling extension documentation; and ensuring proper execution, recording, and filing of lending instruments.

Communication with borrowers, internal staff, and vendors is required. The position is fully remote for the first year, with no travel except for a possible annual office visit and potential future on‑site work if BFI opens a local office.

• Prepare, review, and distribute loan documentation and settlement statements.
• Assist with title insurance processes.
• Coordinate loan closings and initial disbursement of funds.
• Handle extension documentation.
• Ensure proper execution, recording, and filing of lending instruments.

• Education:
  
  Most recent degree earned within the past five years, including cumulative GPA and transcript if applicable.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in mortgage closing or a related field.
