• Perform daily in-line quality assurance reviews on a selection of high-risk criteria loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company credit and operational guidelines.
• Analyze data and assist with recommendations as to appropriate gap‑related solutions.
• Keep abreast of all company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulatory changes.
• Ensure data integrity in the loan origination system by ensuring role activities are appropriately documented in the system of record.
• Identify any suspected fraudulent activity and escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Manage daily reports and communicate effectively with management.
• Transition seamlessly from an independent contributor to a group collaborator.
• Identify red flags and offer solutions based on experience and expertise.

• 5+ years of related experience or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets, and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate knowledge of investor/insurer guidelines, including FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, and USDA.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products with advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Knowledge of ICE Mortgage Technology / Encompass.
