- Lead and support multi-jurisdictional sales tax audit defense, audit management, and refund engagements.
- Research complex state and local tax issues and provide practical, well-reasoned client guidance.
- Prepare filings, petitions, refund claims, and responses to taxing authorities.
- Analyze data, perform reconciliations, and support consulting conclusions with detailed calculations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for client questions and ongoing support.
- Travel to client locations as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service and consulting solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant multi-state sales and use tax experience preferred.
- Background in sales tax consulting, auditing, or audit defense.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax principles and research methodologies.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and professional judgment.
- Client-service-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license required.
- English proficiency required.
