LHH is looking to fill a Senior Construction Accountant position with a large privately held construction company in the Dallas area. This position has been created due to company growth and will be groomed for progression by the Controller. The company is a trusted business partner in the construction industry with over 60 years of operations.
This position pays 95K-100K+Bonus and offers great flexibility.
Responsibilities- Experience working with Job cost variance analysis and experience with Pay Applications and WIP
- Participate in the month end close process
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- General ledger account reconciliation
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience; preferably in construction or related industry
- Familiar with percentage of completion revenue recognition would be a plus
- Sage 100 or job costing system experience preferred
- Possess management and leadership skills and experience
