Knowledge& Skills Key Duties, Activities and Responsibilities
- Originate, manage, and grow a diverse portfolio of commercial relationships in the $200k-$2mllion range.
- Work directly with business owners and decision-makers to provide customized financing solutions.
- Analyze and underwrite commercial loan requests in accordance with bank policy and regulatory standards.
- Manage all aspects of the credit process, from origination and analysis through closing and ongoing portfolio management.
- Partner with credit analysts, portfolio managers, and senior management to ensure sound credit decisions.
- Monitor loan performance and proactively manage potential risks or problem credits.
- Actively participate in community events and business networking to build visibility and new business leads.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of commercial lending experience with a proven record of portfolio growth and credit quality.
- Strong knowledge of CRE, and C&I some SBA lending.
- Excellent financial analysis and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to generate new business through community involvement and client referrals.
