The Operations Accounting – Data Center Infrastructure team owns accounting governance and financial control for large-scale data center construction programs. The team manages construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting, fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, and SOX-compliant controls, ensuring accurate close, Cap Ex reporting, and audit-ready financials across multi-site, capital-intensive infrastructure builds.
About the RoleThe Senior Manager, Operations Accounting Data Center Infrastructure serves as the single-threaded owner for financial governance across large-scale data center infrastructure construction programs. On a day-to-day basis, this role partners closely with Construction, Procurement, and Finance to manage Cap Ex planning, overseeing OFCI procurement, construction cost and ensuring compliant asset capitalization and in-service activation. The role provides executive visibility into spending, risks, schedules, and asset readiness while ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards.
This position is critical to enabling disciplined capital deployment and scalable growth across complex, multi-site infrastructure builds.
- Lead enterprise-wide operations accounting for data center infrastructure construction, including T&I and COR reporting, fixed asset governance, Cap Ex accounting, and cash flow reporting across multi-site, capital-intensive programs.
- Design, implement, and operate SOX-compliant accounting processes supporting monthly close, construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting, asset capitalization, depreciation, impairment testing, valuation, and asset disposals in accordance with GAAP and CW policies.
- Maintain reconciliation integrity between fixed asset subledgers, CIP schedules, and the general ledger, including timely capitalization of OFCI and construction costs, accurate depreciation schedules, Cap Ex roll-forwards, and variance analysis versus approved budgets.
- Produce standardized, auditable financial and operational reporting, including Cap Ex forecasts, spend-to-date, asset-in-service tracking, and variance analysis to support investment governance and capital allocation decisions.
- Establish, document, and test accounting controls related to capital projects, fixed assets, and close processes; support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and control evidence in compliance with SOX requirements.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and external reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders
- CPA and/or public accounting background

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
