Cash Management Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Cash Management Specialist to join a mission-driven organization. This individual will play a critical role in managing donor contributions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional service to donors both in person and over the phone.

The ideal candidate has experience handling cash and checks, maintaining confidential financial information, balancing transactions accurately, and building positive relationships with customers, members, or donors. Banking, credit union, financial services, nonprofit, or customer-facing financial experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and record donor contributions, including cash, checks, and electronic payments
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records and donor information
  • Reconcile contributions and assist with reporting activities
  • Maintain donor databases and donor relationship management software
  • Provide professional and courteous support to donors via phone, email, and in person
  • Assist with donor acknowledgments and contribution documentation
  • Handle sensitive financial and personal information with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Research and resolve contribution discrepancies when needed
  • Support stewardship and donor engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recordkeeping and donor satisfaction
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, customer service, nonprofit administration, donor services, or a related field
  • Experience handling cash, checks, deposits, payments, or financial transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with databases, CRM systems, or donor management software;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
