We're partnering with a leading financial services firm looking to add a Tax Manager to their team, focused on state and local tax compliance. This role offers strong visibility across a large financial services platform and the opportunity to take ownership within a lean, collaborative tax team. Open to relocation and will provide assistance.

• Support and oversee multi state corporate tax compliance across a complex multi entity structure.
• Manage state income tax filings, estimates, extensions, and related reporting requirements.
• Assist with state and local tax audits, notices, and tax authority correspondence.
• Partner closely with finance and accounting teams on business changes, acquisitions, and tax related initiatives.
• Support tax research, process improvement initiatives, and broader projects across the tax function.
• Review and improve existing processes, controls, and reporting workflows.
• Mentor and support junior team members within the tax group.

• 5+ years of corporate state tax experience.
• Background in public accounting and/or large corporate environments.
• Exposure to multi state tax compliance and reporting.
• Experience with ONESOURCE or similar tax technology platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• High visibility within a lean and collaborative tax team.
